Dr. Paul Howard
Paul Howard MD has provided comprehensive traditional and alternative approaches of rheumatologic care to adults with arthritis, immune disorders and osteoporosis for over 35 years here in the Valley of the Sun.
This past year, he was named TOP DOC by Phoenix Magazine for the 19th consecutive year. He was labeled the "Michael Jordan of Rheumatology".
He is an educator for physicians and students and has developed, and remains the senior faculty of the highly acclaimed American College of Physicians (ACP) national course on Arthrocentesis and Soft Tissue Injections. He has lead many educational events both for physicians and patients locally and nationally and is a proud long-term advocate of the Arthritis Foundation.
Dr. Howard trained at Georgetown University for medical school, the University of Arizona for residency and Johns Hopkins University in rheumatology.
He is married and has 4 adult children. He enjoys gardening, working outside, and is an avid hiker, backpacker and both mountain and road biker.
